No sugar lemonade

GF, DF, SF, Paleo Gallbladder Lemonade

This lemonade has no added sugar and it may help decongest an exhausted gallbladder with alkaline fruits and water vegetables. Use food as medicine when ever possible.

You are going to love this lemonade if you have not been able to enjoy lemonade in the summer because of the added sugar.  This lemonade is refreshing, loaded with anti-oxidants, alkalizing properties, and loaded with malic acid from the apples that may help dissolve gallbladder stones!  Avoid using juices if you have SIBO.

Serve over ice in the summer.

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • Celery sticks, 2

  • Cucumber, large, 2

  • Granny Smith apples, cored and quartered, 4

  • Lemon, peeled, 1/2 or 1 whole juice, remove the seeds

Wash all the vegetables.  Peel the cucumber and ½ lemon.  Juice per your juicer instructions.  Serve immediately to prevent oxidation and obtain the most nutritional benefits.  Great over iced! Please note vitamin C is easily oxidized by light.
